Committees

The Burnaby Teachers’ Association offers many different Committees; Standing Committees, Continuing Committees and Contractual Committees. The purpose of committees is to give members a voice in a particular area of interest, do the work of the union, and give advice and make recommendations to the Executive Council and Table Officers. There are a variety of committees that frequently have space for members to be a part of; most committees meet once a month. Please feel free to contact a Table Officer or the chairperson of any committee for more information. If you would like to put your name forward to become a member of a committee, please email bta3@bctf.ca.
